That's early adoption for you. In many cases an update will go backwards for some and forwards for others, it tends to take a while before everyone sees forward motion. If you are stable with 1.10 then I would stick to it for about a month and check for updates again then. Even then however, I tend to avoid updating unless I have an issue.
