Drivers do not affect bios update. Drivers only affect system stability. Use drivers from the AMD website as these are the most current. As for the VGA driver, you need it if your processor has a graphics chip. Otherwise they are not needed

![]() Hello, I have a question about drives cause i'm a bit confused, for example on the asrock site it says that in order to do bios update i have to install AMD all in 1 with VGA driver ver: 18.50.16.01_WHQL, on the gigabyte site says to install AMD Chipset Driver 18.50.16.01, whats the difference between them ?? why asrock say with VGA ?? If i just download chipset drivers (~50MB) from amd site will i have problem with bios update ?? Also on amd site are the have chipset drivers without the radeon software that is being released for example is version 1.8.19.0915. Basically I want to buy asrock B450 mobo and in the future put a 3000 ryzen and I want to know from now on whats with the drivers, if i have nvidia card can i still install all in one drivers from asrock ?? Thank you very much |
